Polar Europe was founded in 1996 by Michiel de Ruiter. As a reputable trampoline jumper Michiel ventured at a young age the jump to the freestyle jumps. Also on skis he quickly knew how to find the (inter)national top of sport.His participation in the Olympic Games in Albertville and Lillehammer undoubtedly highlighted his sporting career.  Once owner of the patented Polar Snowmaking system, he made Polar where it is now.
